Call for Presenters
Battelle for Kids is seeking learning session presenters for our national value-added conference, October 7-8. We invite you and your colleagues to share your experiences and expertise using value-added information to improve teaching and learning.
General Requirements & Information
- Proposals must be postmarked no later than May 19, 2008.
- Mail, fax or e-mail completed proposal form(s) to Battelle for Kids at 1160 Dublin Road, Ste. 100, Columbus, OH 43215; fax to 614-481-8997 or e-mail Erica Powers at epowers@BattelleforKids.org.
- E-mail all session descriptions to epowers@BattelleforKids.org.
- Presenters are responsible for their travel and hotel accommodations.
- Presenters will receive (1) free conference registration per proposal.
- Presenters will be responsible for providing their own handouts.
Criteria for Evaluation
Proposals will be selected on the following criteria:
- Topic and content are relevant to the conference and to one of the conference strands.
- Learner outcomes are clearly presented.
- The program or initiative being presented is proven successful.
Proposal Selection
Selected conference presenters will receive a confirmation letter in June 2008 requesting additional information, including names of co-presenters, A/V requirements, etc.
